3rd seat of the Eighth Division. He was one of the Officers who was defeated by Yasutora Sado. He is a large Shinigami with an ego to match. When he meets with Chad in battle, he swings his sword in a random, almost idiotic fashion while making ridiculous sounds, believing it to be impenetrable defense (Chad disproves this by punching him in the face). Tatsufusa secretly has feelings for the 2nd Division Captain Soifon.
